How to Measure Windows for Window Film
A Few Simple Steps Gets You to a Quote Faster
At Meridian Window Tint, getting a quote is easy. We are always happy to schedule a free on-site estimate, but if you want a general price range before we visit, all we need are a few basic measurements.

Steps for Measuring Your Windows
- Measure only the glass area of the window, not the frame or the full window opening.
- Measure the width of the glass from left to right in inches, to the nearest half inch.
- Measure the height of the glass from bottom to top in inches, to the nearest half inch.
- Write down both measurements for each window.
- Repeat for every window you want filmed.
Note: For odd-shaped windows such as half-moon or triangular glass, measure the width and height at the widest points of the glass.
